Can a different company take out the permit for my electrical work?

No. In Ontario, electrical work you hire out must be done by a Licensed Electrical Contractor, and the contractor holding the permit is responsible for all the work on site. A contractor isn't allowed to take out permits for unlicensed people or companies, and its Master Electrician can be designated to only one company at a time. If the permit names a company that didn't do your job, so does your Certificate of Acceptance, the document your insurer and a future buyer rely on. We file every job under our own licence, #7013957.

What are your service call rates?

Service call rates depend on the scope of your portfolio and the type of arrangement that makes sense. For property managers with ongoing needs, we structure pricing around the relationship — not per-visit billing.

All work is confirmed in writing before starting. The invoice always matches the quote.

Do you provide documentation for building records and insurance?

Yes — always. Every job comes with a written work report. ESA inspection certificates are provided for all permitted work. For aluminum wiring remediation or other insurance-related work, we provide the documentation your insurer requires.

Can you coordinate with our engineers or other contractors?

Yes. We regularly coordinate with engineers, fire alarm verification companies, general contractors, and building management teams. We're used to working within a larger project structure and can attend site meetings when required.
