Mississauga EV Charger Installation.
Checked Before We Install.

Many Mississauga townhouses run on a 100 or 125 A supply. We check what your home already uses before we install, so your charger works with the capacity you have. Most owners set it to charge overnight, when electricity costs least.

Before You Buy
the Charger

Four things that decide how a Mississauga charger install goes.

Load Calculation Comes First

We check what your home already uses before recommending anything. Often no upgrade is needed.

Townhouses Usually Run on 100 or 125 A

A smaller supply means load management is often the answer, not a service upgrade.

Choose a Charger You Can Schedule

We help you pick a charger that's easy to program for overnight charging, when electricity costs least.

Townhouse or Condo? Your Board Gets What It Needs

Your condo board may ask for documents from a licensed installer, before or after the work. We provide them anytime on request.

Two Kinds of
Mississauga Install

A starting expectation from the field — we check every home.

Detached Homes

Usually a straightforward run of about 10 m from the panel to the charger. The load calculation decides whether the panel can carry it as is.

Townhouses

Usually a smaller supply. If your townhouse is part of a condo corporation, the board may ask for our documents — we provide them anytime.

Manage the Load
Instead of Upgrading

Same-Brand Systems — Slow the Charger Down

When your home is close to its limit, the charger slows down for that moment and keeps charging. Works only with the same brand, such as Tesla or ChargePoint.

Universal Systems — Turn the Charger Off

Works with any charger. When your home is close to its limit, it switches the charger off until demand drops.

Pick your charger first — it decides which option you can use.

What's the biggest panel upgrade I can get in Mississauga?

Four Steps,
Start to Finish

We handle the permit, the paperwork and the inspection.

1
Free Assessment and Load Calculation

We check your panel, your supply and where the charger will go.

2
Board Documents, Anytime

If your condo board asks, we provide our licence and insurance certificate, before the work or after.

3
Installation Day

Most installs take 5 to 6 hours. We set up the charger and register it with the manufacturer where needed, so it's ready to use. You choose when it charges.

4
ESA Permit and Inspection

We open the ESA permit and submit everything it needs. You get the certificate for your records and your board.

What Does It Cost?

Every job is different. Final price confirmed after panel photo assessment. Here are the typical ranges — tap any row to see what's included. Charger types, condo parking and commercial installs are covered on our full EV charger installation page.

From $1,100

Range depends on scope — breaker work, load management, or sub-panel

Everything from the Standard Installation included — plus whichever of these your panel actually requires:

✓
Free up space in your panel
When your panel is full, replacing or consolidating breakers often creates the room the charger needs — without touching the service.
✓
Load management system — to avoid a full service upgrade
If your panel is tight, a load management system lets you add the charger without a costly full service upgrade. We only install it when the numbers call for it — and it's far more cost-effective than a full service upgrade.
✓
New sub-panel for extra room
A new sub-panel gives extra room for your EV charger circuit when the main panel has no space left.

Complete panel upgrade + EV charger installation  ·  Site assessment required

Everything from the Standard Installation included, plus a full panel upgrade:

✓
Full panel upgrade — internal and external components
We check the maximum service size available for your house and upgrade the panel completely — sized to what your home can actually get, no guessing.
✓
All permits and requests handled — city and utility
You don't need to think about anything. We handle everything from beginning to end — one contractor, one permit, one warranty.
✓
ESA permit, utility coordination, and inspection
All coordination and scheduling is covered by us — the utility disconnect, the reconnect, the inspection. Nothing for you to deal with.

Common Questions —

Tap any question to read the answer.

Usually not. We calculate your load first, and load management covers many homes that are short on capacity. When an upgrade really is needed, here's how it works in Mississauga.
It depends on your board, so check with them before we install. Outdoor chargers that change how the building looks are the ones boards most often want to approve. After installation we provide our licence, insurance certificate and the ESA certificate whenever your board asks.
Most of our customers charge overnight. The car is full every morning, and electricity costs least at night — on Alectra's Ultra-Low Overnight plan, the cheapest hours are 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. You set the schedule in your charger's app.
In most detached Mississauga homes the run is about 10 m. Longer runs are fine — we price them after seeing the route.
One with easy scheduling, stable software and solid build quality. And if your home may need load management, choose the brand first — same-brand systems only work with their own chargers.
Yes. Actus Electric is a ChargePoint Partner with certified Home Flex installation. We handle the circuit, ESA permit and setup, the same as any charger we install.
Yes. Every EV charger installation needs an ESA permit and inspection. We open the permit and submit everything it needs, and you get the certificate.

"Sergii did an excellent job installing the EV charger at our new home. It was not a straightforward installation — the cable had to be routed from the electrical panel through the house to the charger location — and he managed to do it without disrupting or opening up any walls. …"

"[Sergii] installed a sub panel below my main panel and rerouted 8–9 circuits to free up space for the 100A breaker, ensuring everything was done safely and to code. … Sergii made sure the garage sub panel feeding my 60A circuit for my 48A EVSE was installed properly and functioning exactly as it should. …"
